Is Evolution Compatible With Religion? – Huffington Post (blog)

Random chance combined with long periods of time is the modern creation myth that makes atheists feel good. Human beings have tried to experimentally duplicate the evolution hypothesis unsuccessfully so far. The origin of the first subatomic particle is even doubtful. A hypothesis is different from an experimentally verifiable theory. Why can’t humans create life from nonliving elements to verify how evolution started? Evolution is very compatible with a modern religion of atheism. No one can prove a process works unless they can replicate it. 1. I personally find the discussion about creation and evolution fascinating but without a definitive solution. In my opinion God is unknowable which is the main reason why science never answers this question head-on. Science, quantum physics, has made remarkable discoveries in the last 40 years or so and the one finding that has implications for the question you raised is this: our physical world appears to be the visible manifestation of a deeper (unobservable) reality. So unfortunately the answers to these kind of questions will probably forever remain a mystery.
