Mars rover spots a shiny new toy in soil

Could it be the antenna on the top of a buried alien craft? Our knowledge of the universe and our place in it may be fundamentally altered! Is the anticipation worth all the money we spent? Maybe not. There are many practical reasons for man and machines to be in space. We need to try to make a direct financial profit from work in space and fund space exploration with a percentage of such profits. I think that research is an acceptable use for a small percent of our budget and the pictures from Mars are interesting. We should begin trying to get heavy industry, power generation and mining started in space. The results of these types of businesses operating in space would benefit everyone by making the economic pie a little bigger. __________ USA TODAY Sent from Maxthon Mobile
