The end of the world

I can guaranty that the world will end but I don’t think it’s my job to dwell on it. Some Christians do a disservice to Christ by harping on their particular screwy interpretation of the Bibles description of the end of life as we know it. Even pagans know that this earth will end from simple observation of nature. What good does it do to tell someone something they already know or to argue with another Christian about a nuance of eschatology? Most discussions on this subject are a waste of time that would be better spent doing something that is actually beneficial. There are some things that only God knows and humans just are not going to figure out.

Matthew 24:24-27 NIV

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.  See, I have told you ahead of time.     “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.  For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
