Amazon kindle technical support appears to follow the customer forums and provide help as needed. They seem to know their stuff and I find their comments entertaining. “Monikat is knitting mittens for her kittens” is especially understanding and knows her tech stuff. Customer forum comments by actual customers are also useful.

Silk can’t be used to log into http://www.sweepstakestoday.com or the Froedtert Hospital network. All other browsers work perfectly. Amazon customer service may be able to help but i don’t have the time to talk to them. Amazon will not let you directly load another browser on the kindle even though they sell Maxthon and Dolphin on the Amazon app store. Bezo, can you hear your customers complain?

Amazon should immediately make a way to directly import Amazon book purchases to shelves on Goodreads. All Kindle Fires should have an Application that allows you to put your ebook on a Goodreads shelf. How long does it really take to get this done? Why is there not ANY book organization on the Kindle Fire? How incompetent and unfriendly can Amazon really be to its book customers?
Of course Amazon was good enough to allow me to download about 3000 good ebooks for free but what the hell good are all those great books when you can’t find the book you want because of disorganization. I even bought a few ebooks that I can’t find in this mess!

Oyster is trying to become the Netflix of ebooks. Amazon should match the Oyster business model by simply adding unlimited reading of comparable books for an extra fee.

Amazon rocks my world! Smartphones should be an unalienable right in our constitution. I may even upgrade to this Amazon phone from my current $10 flip phone. Now all that Amazon needs to do to make me completely satisfied is integrate Goodreads with Kindle Fire and my new smartphone. Almost heaven here on earth ……but the ebook Bible I bought from Amazon says that God’s Heaven is better than anything man can imagine.
Bummer. I always liked Amazon‘s free Kindle books. Amazon is making it more difficult for websites to specify good free Kindle books to get. If you like Science Fiction try going to http://www.baenebooks.com and getting their books free in the kindle format.
